Satellite & LEO
Pop-up connectivity and redundant links for emergencies and continuity.
01Overview
iSAT Africa deploys redundant solutions that keep organisations running through critical seasons and emergencies. Pop-up connectivity can be installed at short notice where base stations are down.
We provide independent redundant links with speed and latency comparable to a primary link, plus backup links for critical applications and data storage, with the connectivity, digital services, technical support and financing that disaster-recovery planning needs.
02Built for resilience
Rapidly installed sites where terrestrial networks have failed or never existed.
Backup links that match primary-link speed and low latency, not a degraded fallback.
Adaptable, scalable LEO plans that strengthen existing communications as primary, backup or hybrid links, easy to order, deliver, install and maintain.
Self-service digital tooling helps carriers and distribution partners protect, operate and maintain LEO networks more affordably as data volumes scale.
LEO reach enables location-sensitive edge computing, lowering the cost of moving data to a distant cloud while keeping it trustworthy and accessible.
Low latency for live interviews and broadcast-quality coverage from hard-to-reach places, deployable quickly for events and special reports.
LEO user terminals
01
Built with leading manufacturers: parabolic antennas of 73cm diameter (77cm tall in a radome) and compact electronically steered antennas of 53 × 18cm. Parabolic units weigh under 22kg, ESAs just 9kg, with a CNX unit for power and data and optional heating for operation down to -40°C.
02
LEO needs a new class of user terminal. A growing range of cost-effective UTs for land, sea and air, engineered to the same standard as the satellites, is already shipping and switched on for customers.
03
Device Hub gives remote access, firmware and diagnostics. Service Hub covers support and incident management, Account Hub handles contracts, quotes and orders, and a 24/7 technical assistance centre backs it all.
