Community Connectivity.

Satellite & LEO
Public wireless with governments and partners to connect the unconnected.
01Overview
iSAT Africa works with governments and trusted distribution partners so that every community can benefit from enterprise-grade broadband, and the gains it brings to welfare, health and education.
Nearly three billion people remain offline because of infrastructure, cost, speed, usage and digital-literacy limits. We are driving a large network rollout that enables innovative public wireless solutions, connecting rural people to local government, revenue agencies, health and education services.
02What we deliver
Scalable programmes designed to meet universal-coverage commitments.
Solutions built to foster growth and hit sustainability objectives.
Adaptable, scalable LEO plans that strengthen existing communications as primary, backup or hybrid links, easy to order, deliver, install and maintain.
Self-service digital tooling helps carriers and distribution partners protect, operate and maintain LEO networks more affordably as data volumes scale.
LEO user terminals
01
Built with leading manufacturers: parabolic antennas of 73cm diameter (77cm tall in a radome) and compact electronically steered antennas of 53 × 18cm. Parabolic units weigh under 22kg, ESAs just 9kg, with a CNX unit for power and data and optional heating for operation down to -40°C.
02
LEO needs a new class of user terminal. A growing range of cost-effective UTs for land, sea and air, engineered to the same standard as the satellites, is already shipping and switched on for customers.
03
Device Hub gives remote access, firmware and diagnostics. Service Hub covers support and incident management, Account Hub handles contracts, quotes and orders, and a 24/7 technical assistance centre backs it all.
